Drive to West Seattle, or take the 'C' line (bus beats slogging through the jammed roads). When you get to the Park, pick any trail or walkway in and start exploring... just don't trample the forest floor! Head West and you'll get to the Puget Sound - the easy paths are at the South and North ends, but the best... More

This park is hidden away near a smaller ferry dock in West Seattle. You go down a big hill to get to the park where you get see the rocky beaches as well. Good place to walk the dogs and have a BBQ. It isn't the biggest of trail on the bottle but there are also swings and a bigger... More

Great walking park, busy with people and dogs. We strolled down to the water and then took a different path back to the carpark. Plenty of parking.

Is there a prettier park in the Northwest? People from Seattle will literally drive hours away to see a park half as beautiful. And it's only a 20 minute drive from the city.

Had a gorgeous stroll here today. Saw an eagle while enjoying the fall foliage. Liked the variety of trails along the water and in the hills.

There is a bunch of trails here, which can be fun for you and your four legged friend. Please keep them on their leash, though. You can walk down to the water, maybe catch a glimpse of a seal or an eagle, and then have a picnic. There's a playground, ball fields, and a community pool as well.

Lincoln park is a lovely walk in the woods. Popular for walking your dog. Woods or beach, this is a park to visit in West Seattle. Watch the ferry depart for Vashon and Kitsap County.

People will often go to Alki Beach when in West Seattle with its long beach and view of downtown. However, if you want more trails in big trees or a walk along the water in a less crowded area, go to this park. There are playing fields, jungle gyms and swings for the kids, occasional Shakespeare performances, a BIG salt... More

Went to this park for the first time. What a great experience! Lots of trails, great beach, public pool, great view of the ferry dock, reserved picnic benches. Parking is quite limited, so get there early. This will become a regular visit!

I've been going to this park for years. It has beautiful old growth trees, a great trail system for walking and running, a children's pool and a saltwater pool down on the water, a beautiful beach where you can walk along the water, watch the ferry, mountains, boaters and sunsets. It's a great playground for both children and adults alike.... More
