Amazing architectural design

Folks ... it's a library. But the outside of the building is beautiful to look at if you are into building design.

The architecture of the building is spectacular. Fits in well with the other great buildings in Seattle. Lots of tourist buses stop and leave from here, so a good place to get to Know.

The Seattle Public Library is a fine piece of architecture. Go all the way up and look down. The view is rather impressive. The rhomb shaped windows offer interesting perspectives. Walk down the the spiral and take a look at the different levels. Or indulge in some literature and take your time. There is also a cafe inside, which I... More

Good place to spend hot day or rainy day. I'm very happy that libraries still free and easy to get access to any book you want.

This is an amazing Library to visit. Walk inside look around, it is beautiful inside and out. It is down town, walking distance to Pikes Street market, so make a day downtown seeing the sights.

The library building is regarded as one of the very special architectural gems in the city of Seattle. It's a glass 11 floor building. You can go to floor 10 and have a view of the city and look down on the lower floors of the library. There is a great deal of space for reading and lots of newspapers.... More

The Seattle Public Library is recommended in the tour books for its unique external architecture. However, I actually enjoyed the internal architecture even more! Start by going to Level 10 and looking down and around the building. Then, start walking down the floors by following the meandering downwards spiral. Yes -- many floors of the building can be traversed without... More
