This library is an architectural accomplishment! So unusual for a public facility. It is something one would think of seeing in a private building. One can view to floors below and out side.

A beautiful building with some nice views, a friendly and helpful staff and great resources. A bit difficult to navigate.

Did not go in, but my daughter in law took me by to see the building. It was beautiful. Not what you would expect from a library. If i lived in Seattle, you bet I would get a library card there.

Another iconic building in Seattle. The architecture is interesting both outside and inside. This is a good for a quick visit if time permits.

We stopped in here on a recent visit to Seattle on the recommendation of friends who had previously spent quite a bit of time in the Seattle area. The building was beautiful and we enjoyed exploring it and taking pictures. Definitely worth a see.

This library had great architecture and looked very good from the outside. You go inside and most signs are very new. The quality of the library itself was average, but not the best I have seen.

The Friends of the Seattle Public LIbrary collect and sell books for the benefit of the library budget. You can find out more by going to the main library's web site or to that of the Friends themselves.
