Having visited the area and it's attractions a lot I was happy to find a new place to visit but didn't have high expectations. This place can't be accused of over promoting itself, in fact it could easily be overlooked but you'd be missing a treat. Situated in a side street in a charming coastal town and in a modest... What a fun and interesting tour we had. Our guide, Pascal, was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the process of making Vermouth. The tasting at the end of the tour was especially enlightening for someone like me who doesn't drink this stuff regularly. I can highly recommend this tour but it is not for kids.

Thanks a lot for your pleasant comment. This first french vermouth celebrated 200 years in 2013, while it's still highly appreciated in the mixology world! Hope to see you soon in Marseillan. More

Our knowledgable and charming English speaking guide Antonia, gave us a fabulous insight into the history and making of the different vermouths whilst we were shown around the interesting exhibits. The finale was when Antonia expertly presented the Ambre, Rouge and Original Dry and Extra Dry vermouths for tasting along with some delicious Noilly Prat chocolates! A very enjoyable visit... More

Wonderful learning about the history of this delicious aperitif. You'll be able to sample all four of their drinks, plus have the option of mixing your own drink after. The "Amber" is only available here, so stock up. Lovely spot, fun tour and reasonable price.

While in Marseillan, a visit to the French vermouth factory of Noilly Prat is a must. We arrived shortly after ten and were welcomed by a lovely classy lady. We only had to wait about five minutes for a short guided tour (in French) for which no reservation was needed. Our charming guide took us through the different stages of... More

Escaping the crowded beach, a friend suggested a tour at Noilly Prat. A real treat. The tour is affordable and first class. The guide spoke many languages and knew the history of making Vermouth and made it both informative and entertaining. We had no idea how good vermouth could be. It's only Noilly Prat from here on out. Give this... More

Its very interesting to discover the history of this product very famous in France at the beginning of the 20th century and reborn as a popular cocktail base for new mixologue bartenders. The visit centre is very well done and the outdoor ageing court very impressive. The herbal and spices cellar the ageing process and the tasting are very clear... More
