Very long, one block wide park in Downtown. Nothing much going on while we were there but can see why this would be a top spot on summer weekends

This is a nice strip of park land located between 9th and 10th Avenue. It has a monument to the men who died fighting in the past few wars. There are benches to sit and relax.

This is a very long, open field park. The grass was nice and people were having picnics when we walked in to check it out. Great for playing ball or throwing a frisbee. Clean grounds.

We went to Delaney Park for the 4th of July celebration. It was a great place to spend the day and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Large, open green space with a playground, also has a steam engine once used on the railroad. Plenty of places to sit and relax.

It was a terrific idea to convert the former airstrip to a community amenity such as this great park. Found ourselves in the vicinity on several occasions and enjoyed it.

Beautifully kept park, some vagrants. Lovely rose garden, food trucks are supposed to be at the park near K st this summer. Sweet place for a picnic or just relaxing. Veterans memorial, sports fields and a monument to Dr King.
