I have been to a number of zoo's, but none have come close to the Henry Doorly Zoo. You don't need to be a traveler visiting Omaha to come here. We try to make the trip at least once a year to the zoo and we don't have kids and live in town. They continue to renovate and make this... More

All of the new exhibits are awesome. Love the more natural feel and bigger habitats. The new food places are good, also. Really like the brushes at the petting areas to help interact with the goats.

The zoo in Omaha is amazing. It is one of the country's best. It covers a hillside net the Missouri River so some of the walkways are pretty steep but they have a miniature steam train and trolleys. They have huge indoor facilities as well as many outdoor settings. I love the indoor jungle, the indoor desert, the penguins, and... More

Omaha, has one of the best Zoo's in the United States. It is family friendly and works for all ages. With all of it's exhibits there is something for everyone. And they keep improving every year.

The zoo has always been a spot my family has gone to for years! Aside from the constant construction, its the best zoo I have been to! The new African Safari exhibit with the elephants is really cool! Seeing elephants there again brought back some great memories of watching them when I was a kid! The zoo continues to improve... I have lived in the area and visited at least once a year my entire life. Some of the animals have been there since I was a kid...literally grew up together. I have visited behind the scenes as well. This zoo and it's staff are incredible. They are constantly improving and reinventing the habitats. Fyi...there is a new splash pad.... More

You must walk through the dome. It goes on for a while. The elephant area is the largest I've ever seen as they all should be. There are a ton of animals from the "Cat" Family however the elephants must take up all the space because they have zero room to move around and that's super sad. The same for... More

One of the very best zoos in the world and a very enjoyable way to spend a day. The new African grasslands exhibit is very nice.
