It is a very good zoo. Good selection of animals and fish. I recommend going in the morning before the large animals are brought inside. Wear comfortable walking shoes because the zoo is good size.

This is a excellent zoo. We had a large school group and were given an excellent rate ($7 per student) and the staff was very friendly in all interactions. Aquarium is terrific and there are new exhibits being built all over the zoo. Very family...More

You shouldn't find a dead end here... unlike many others this zoo flows well. Every corner you take will take you to another exhibit. Lots of animals to see. If the weather is less than ideal you can easily get your admission's worth by visiting...More

Zoo is pretty good although several animals not on exhibit. No excuse for bad food which is grossly overpriced.

We were disappointed with the zoo. For the price my step mom paid for the three of us-(over $60)-a lot of the animals very visible. The bears and sea lions were gone due to construction, and the food was a little too pricey. We did...More

This is an excellent zoo. Loved the gorilla house - got to see them close up. First aquarium I’ve seen in a zoo and it’s a first rate aquarium. Desert dome very interesting.

The Henry Doorly Zoo provides excellent animal enclosures and is well maintained in terms of cleanliness. Animals are provided mental stimulation through interaction with trainers and toys. The only complaint we had was the employees were unfriendly during our visit and the transportation/special attractions close...More

The Henry Doorley Zoo is a world class zoo. Always growing & educational. My favorite is the butterfly house & Aquarium. It is well laid out with great sinage. The treat this time was a peacock that preened & posed for us!! There are several...More

Yes, there are electric scooters at the zoo for rent on a first come first serve basis. They also have regular wheelchairs for rent at the zoo as well. Hope this helps.
