We RV a LOT and consider this to be among the very best campgrounds in the US. At only $7.50 per night, includes 30 amp electric for seniors with a Senior Pass. It's a Core of Engineers campground, therefore qualifying for 1/2 price camping for...More

Rules are not enforced at all at this campground. People will stay for a night without paying, be drunk at 3AM blasting horrific music. This campground is in a very convenient area for city people, hence why I actually visit so often. It's a pretty...More

This place is seriously sketchy, avoid it. Its mostly for fishing and other than the boat ramp area, there are plenty of creeps cruising around. Not anywhere to be alone and there are many better choices.

I am disgusted by trying to enjoy a nice lake by my home and always finding single men parked in cars obviously looking to hook up with each other. I mean, get a room! It makes me uncomfortable which is this opposite feeling I want...More

Try the fishing at this well kept inner city lake. Walking and bike paths available for the health person.

Yes, on the east side of the lake (using the entrance road off of 72nd Street) there is a playground area for kids not far from the water.
