Attracted by the sirens posing as waitresses we stopped just for a coffee. It turned out to be, evidenced by several other places, the most expensive coffee in Syvota. Average cappuccino 3/3.50e, here 4.50e. We might have gone back but on this little experience will take our custom elsewhere.

We headed for Bamboo on the first evening of our holiday and it became a nightly pleasure for the rest of our stay. Location is superb for watching the world go by and lovely sunsets. The service is absolutely excellent with free crisps, nuts and cool water provided with your order by very friendly staff. We would have expected prices to be on the high side based on its location etc but this is not the case. Prices are average for the resort. Highly recommend this place ..... missing my cool retsina already ... and it was only yesterday.

Situated right on the water front, you could spend hours here, watching the boats and people passing. The owner is fabulous, very attentive, supplying you with endless crisps and nibbles. His opening phrase is "welcome to paradise" he runs everywhere all day and night making sure his guests are happy.

and a place for everyone! whatever your age Andreas is delighted to welcome you as a new friend. He works this bar, which also does light snacks, as if he's wearing those amazing carbon fibre "legs" used by some of our para-atheletes. What a masterclass. If you're in for a drink he'll provide the nibbles and the odd shot of something else depending on the time of day.
The clientele is international - you can pass the time of day with Italians, Dutch, Germans and many others including the locals. It's a meeting place where people start and finish their days in groups or as couples but however you're there, even alone, it's good for people watching, reading, chatting or waiting for the sun to go down which is when everyone gets their cameras out.
This bar is lively as the mornings get underway, peaceful in the afternoons and buzzing from 6pm onwards. For a village with no particular nightlife this is the place we keep returning to.

We used this bar exclusively while we were in Syvota, as from the first day, Andreas made us so welcome with his tireless cabaret for his customers! The fact that he remembered what everyone liked to drink at given times of the day and also the added-value of free toasties, nibbles and liqueurs made all the difference. An excellent place also to people-watch.

Well run bar / restaurant on the quay at Sivota situated right in front of the quay where the tourist trips and ferries tie up. If mooring try and tie up facing the port police as there is no swell along there. The staff are extremely helpful and polite. It hardly takes any time at all to become a regular! Frequent nibbles served with drinks as well as the occasional free small cocktail or beer. More useful as a breakfast / snack bar and their choice of ice creams is extensive

Best place for a harbourside drink in Sivota. Beware of the industrial quantities of free crisps. I have returned rather fat!

Not so much a 'bar' as an outside lounge to watch the world go by. Not that we are creatures of habit, but every night for a week, before dinner we had drinks at the Bamboo Place. The perfect location for people watching, seeing the sun go down over the yachts in the harbour, and reasonably priced drinks with the extra touches of bottled water, crisps (or nuts if you are lucky) and special shots for special customers (that appears to include everybody!) - what more could you want?

Best place to see the sun go down, prices have increased a fair bit from last year but it's the same all over, still a great bar though.
