We wanted to see this library for some time and finally made it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The exhibits and short movies were very informational. We went on a weekday and it was not busy. My three year old granddaughter loved playing in the children's area. I really enjoyed our visit. It took a little over 2... More

Can you believe that they have his actual hat???!!! That is crazy when you think about it. This place is a wonderful celebration of a man and a time and the convergence of the two. From super humble beginnings, to a modest life in spite of great success, to his leadership in a deeply difficult and important time for our... More

Visited several times while living in Springfield. Really enjoyed each and every visit. Great for all ages. The special effects were great in the little movie theater. No regrets or disappointments.

Have taken my siblings and mother here for a 'girls day out' and we had a ball! Then later took several grandkids ages 8-18 and they loved it as well. Something for everyone here that all can enjoy and great way to 'experience' history in an exciting way that makes us want to keep coming back--so we now have a... More

A great history museum with high quality displays and presentations. Some areas felt on par with what you would find at a Disney park.

Went with my parents to the museum and WOW was I amazed. Soo interesting, fun, historical-it was like stepping back in time. And the hologram-INCREDIBLE! I highly recommend a stop here, give yourself a good 3 hours and take it all in.

Very reverent place. Makes one think about the problems of today not being so different. I don't think those who still hold southern beliefs would enjoy this.

I was pleasantly surprised on all the different facts I learned at the museum. The statues give you an idea of what the Lincolns actually looked like. I especially enjoyed the room with the ladies dresses on display. I'm a civil war reenactor, so I was thrilled to actually see the dresses.

I've visited several presidential museums and this is one of my favorites. The was figures down by Disney are outstanding. History at its best.
