This was my third trip to Iceland but my first to the Blue Lagoon. We reserved spots months in advance and upgraded to the middle package. The water wasn't as hot as I expected (a good thing in my books). I loved the feel of...More

The Blue Lagoon is so cool. We spent about 3 hours relaxing there. We got drinks from the bar, put on silica and algae masks, and went into the sauna. The facilities to get ready in were great. They had hair driers, cotton swabs and...More

This place is amazing, its one of those things you will never forget. The staff where very helpful & polite & the facilities were excellent! We didn't think it was that expensive considering the costs of Spa's in the UK at this quality would be...More

So, yes it is crazy expensive, however you are probably here once or twice in a lifetime, so just go. There were four of us, renting a car and going around golden circle, ending with an evening swim in the blue lagoon. Beautiful surroundings with...More

The Blue Lagoon is located very practically between Reykjavik and Keflavik - the capital and the airport. It is a great place to relax and get warm, especially after spending some time in Iceland that can be rather cold from time to time! It is...More

We took out whole family to the lagoon as our first activity after getting off the plane. This place is a mix of dramatic moment. You drive out in an alien landscape - miles of lava rock. Then all of a sudden, steam and blue...More

The place looks great. The water temperature is perfect and the best part of all is you can grab ice cold pints of beer without even getting out of the water and just pay with your wristband. A must do when in Iceland

Like the title says, it's going to cost you but it's well worth it. You should book in advance since they have access control and limit the number of visitors in the lagoon at any time. This is one of the reasons why entrance fee...More

Hello! What is the "supervised showering" like? Can you shower with your bathing suit on? Can you go barefoot, or is that gross?

I'm sure you can shower with your bathing suit on. In Iceland it is however frowned upon by locals, but now locals visiting the lagoon are only a small percentage of the visitors. It has to do with what we feel is a... More

Are their hair dryers? Planning on driving directly to Blue Lagoon from the airport upon arrival early in the morning. Are there decent amount of secure storage spaces for luggage?

Yes you may wear your glasses. They do warn against it but I wore mine and I did not have any damage to them.
