Frozen world when we visited. Amazing sight in beautiful sunshine with long shadows. Well worth a visit at any time of year.

This was the most impressive waterfall I saw during my trip to Iceland. The views from the top are impressive as well!

Skogafoss is a lovely stop, and there always seems to be a rainbow or two visible! But it's more of a stop-on-the-way kind of place, than an actual destination, as there's not much to do after taking in the waterfall.

Its a bit of a climb if you want to get to the top, but it is well worth it. Otherwise just enjoy it from below.

Very impressive, but very busy these days. Parking was free, but you'll need to pay a couple of quid to use the toilets. If you're visiting in the winter you would be recommended to pack your ice walkers as the area around the base of...More

What I liked the most is that you can get really close to the waterfall and the path to it is near the river. When we went there we saw horses grazing on the other side of the river. What an amazing scenery!

You can camp in the Parking Lot. Toilet is open 24 hours. Someone walks by to collect a camping fee. Can't recall how much it was

Hi yes there's a couple of restaurants and restrooms on site very close to the falls. Hope this helps. Try Seljalandfoss falls about 20km from here it's amazing you can walk behind the falls here.
