This park is very pretty. When we went there was a craft fair and food . There was a small musical group playing on the deck overlooking the park. Very nice visitor center with gift shop and extremely helpful employees.

We were on our way home from a Florida vacation and thought to take a look at the falls after all the rain that has been in north Alabama. We pulled in the parking area and thought to go to the restrooms before the seeing...More

One of the most beautiful rivers/canyons I have ever seen! Even though today was foggy and rainy the falls were beautiful! I can only imagine how beautiful it would be on a sunny day!

Visited last week with family and this place is beautiful! Only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the dining and entertainment options in the area (we were staying in mentone) are limited to day the least. But if you want to see...More

This is a great place to and see nature. There are many pull offs to look down in the canyon and three waterfalls. It’s a great place to go and see the trees turning color or just to spend an afternoon.

It takes a little detour to get here, but it's completely worth it. Start at the visitors center to get some info about the area, then head to the waterfall for some great views. Take a drive along the canyon rim to do some hiking...More

Made many trips here to see the natural beauty in all seasons. Too bad the National Park Service can’t at least maintain the pull offs along the otherwise enjoyable scenic drive. Be very careful using the pull offs as there are many deep potholes and...More

The rangers are quite helpful. We took the scenic driving tour. I especially enjoyed the water falls. I would have liked to hike, but we had several areas to see with limited time. The scenic drive, about a twelve mile trip, took about an hour....More

The waterfalls have a boardwalk that is wheelchair accessible; if a wheelchair is an option since she can’t walk far. There is a beautiful overlook of the falls so it would be well worth it. If that isn’t an option you can... More
