I had to check the link to make sure that the herbaria was the place you wanted reviewed. It is a quick look-see (unless you are studying botany) and quite amazing. One in a kind place and well worth seeing. The rest of the museum...More

There is some truly amazing stuff here - glass models of plants (that you wouldn't even guess what they are made of) and so much other stuff then in the natural history...

You won't believe that these glass models of flowers..over 3,000 on display..are made of glass. The 19th century glass artisans were unbelievably talented. Until March 2008, they have an exhibition of the marine creatures made by Leopold and Rudolph Blashka...jellyfish, anemomes, octupus...which they made before...More
