This is the perfect junction of sea and mountain.
Just love going there in the morning for a walk on the sand

One of many beautiful beaches in Sardinia well worth a trip, Sandy and with clear blue seas. Also there is a very old look out tower which has quite a lot of historical value nearly, which you can see from the beach. This can be reached on foot a reasonably short climb up the hill. with some rough terrain. Excellent views once your at the top. We walked here from Chia Laguna one morning and really enjoyed it. Trainers best for the walk. Loving life!

Was a lovely way to spend a few days in Chia, didn't feel like as if it was mobbed, and the water was fantastic. Nice and shallow too for a good distance, and parking isn't a long haul from the beach (like gideau) Cafe there was good, and friendly staff keen to mind their environment 🙂

It's paradise. Amazing place. So beautiful beach with white sand, in some places with pink tide. Not far from beach is situated little lake, where lives pink flamingo. If you swim to a small island-rock in the sea, climb to the top, then you can see very beautiful view of the beach and the sea around. Parking near the beach costs 5 euros per day.

It would be hard to find a beach more beautiful than this. Crystal clear water, beautiful sand and wonderful views of the watchtower and surrounding dunes and mountains. It was uncrowded and had lifeguard cover. A beach bar and facilities for guests at the Hotel Baia too. Although there were beach vendors they were never a problem and we found our visits here were totally relaxing.

One of the lesser used beaches it seems in the area but do not understand why. Water is crystal clear, white sand and very clean. Sea often very calm though dependent on wind.
Two cafes for food and drink and small water sports shop.
Reasonable amount of parking for only 2.5 euros per day.

Absolutely fabulous, beautiful and stunning. Lovely sand, clear and clean water. One of the best beaches in Sardinia. Easy to find, park at the beginning at the car park for 2,50€ for the whole day - otherwise you'll get a parking ticket!
Stop about 1km before the beach at "The Hub" for absolutely delicious sandwiches, sweets and coffee!

This is a truly beautiful beach, the best that we visited in Sardinia. I was intrigued when a local told me that Chia has won the no.1 spot for Best Beach in Italy, 2017. From a visit to this beach, I understand why.
The water is utterly beautiful - from afar it has a turquoise glow, and when swimming in it, it is perfectly clear. The only disappointment was not spotting any fish when snorkelling. The waves are occasional and there were some surfers about who were catching some decent waves.
The beach doesn't have official toilets - just portaloos.
There is a great beach bar with palms offering shade - order a local beer - Ichnusa - the best we tried was Ichnusa Limone which is very refreshing!
There are much fewer hawkers on this beach in comparison with others (such as Chia Campana Beach, which had sand dunes, but I didn't think was as nice - and the number of hawkers was very irritating).
Also, you will spy wild flamingoes feeding by visiting the lake near the bus stop (this beach is accessible via the 129 bus to Sant'Anna Arresi / Teulada - get off at Chia Baia.
