My best friend and I dived with Bruno, Jonathan and Alice the whole week, 2 dives per day, all dives where perfectly organized and the gear is in perfect condition. We had awesome dives, we had fun and we were safe....impossible to ask for more! We definitely recommend Jonathan and his crew to all divers who wants to go to Ustica. They will make your stay in Ustica even more memorable. We just love them !

I'm writing to put less experienced divers on alert regarding this diving centre. I had a terrible and dangerous experience. I booked a diving session with these guys while at Ustica at 11 am 13th Aug 2021. I informed them I was Open Water with not much diving experience (around 10) and last diving was some 3 yrs ago and that I needed to go through safety instructions. They gave me what I think was a large BCD which made it difficult for me to keep buoyancy right from beginning. I clearly told Jonathan before descending that something was wrong but he did not reply to me and Bruno came to help me descend. He then regulated my BCD and made sure I was buoyant but soon after he moved forward leaving me behind. I noticed I was ascending a bit so tried to deflate but mistakenly I inflated since I was uncomfortable and worried from beginning and couldn't concentrate. I was shocked that Bruno did not see my signalling by hand that there was something wrong as he had left me behind. I kept ascending quickly from 18 m and felt desperate and helpless. Only when I had shot up to the surface Bruno noticed me. I was shocked and was waiting to have symptoms of nitrogen necrosis. I didn't want to believe I had shot up. Bruno gave the red signal to Jonathan that was on boat. Instead of making sure I was feeling ok they were crossed with me and told me to drink if I had any water with me!! They did not even have water on board. They seemed very annoyed with me all the time. Jonathan was only concerned about selling their services! Apart from the horrible experience they had taken us to a sandy seabed among all the gorgeous places on the Island and nothing could have been seen anyway. Yoy'd see much more snorkeling by the shore! I was lucky I had no symptoms but I strongly advise to avoid this centre because we all enjoy diving when things go well. It's when things do not go the way they should that professionalism and responsibility stand out and in this case this particular diving center lacked total sense of responsibility. They should have not let me descend when they saw my uneasiness and when I told Jonathan something didn't go as it should. And Bruno should have stayed next to me all the time given that I was less experienced and not go ahead with his back towards me! Bruno told me himself that he had noticed my uncertainty from the beginning so I wonder why they made me descend and why he left me behind? They only were concerned to provide full diving session and get paid instead of being concerned with the safety of their customers. When I complained with Jonathan back in his office, he said he thought I was more experienced and that Bruno was one of the best dive masters!! No word of comfort and they never called that day to make sure if I had any symptoms or needed medical assistance.

I've been for the first time in Ustica as solo visitors, I really wanted to dive. Ustica diving gave ma a very good experience, the owner Jonathan is very kind and open to help, together with Bruno, the dive master, they make a very professional team. I liked the fact that even being high season the diving group were kept with few people and we could have a very great dive. I'm looking forward to come back

Went diving with my wife now in July 2019. Good diving masters that had excellent knowledge of the local dive sites. Friendly and helpful staff that made our 3 days of diving with 2 dives a day an unforgettable experience. We rented all equipment and it was good quality. Good english skills. Highly recomended!

Spent an awesome weekend with the crew of Ustica Diving Center. The staff are tremendously prepared and super safe as well as very enjoyable and super polite. Top-notch equipment and knowledge of their diving sites. Jonathan, Leo, Luca and Bruno will make you feel super comfortable with their knowledge, experience and confidence. I had personally had been off the water for a really long time, nevertheless they managed to get me into the water with confidence showing me beautiful sites were I was surrounded by lots of huge groupers and school of barracudas. Definitely recommend Ustica Diving Center to everyone who's into this beautiful underwater world!
