Well laid out small museum that covers one floor. It has a variety of items and displays that tell of people and establishments that are meaningful to Richmond's distant and mre recent past. It can be best appreciated if you are from the Richmond area.

We were not able to enter the whitehouse which is just around the corner, so we visited The Valentine which was well worth the time. The exhibit has a wide variety of items from within the last 20 years to 100 years.

What a fantastic gem this place is. They have something for everyone. Pop culture and history and art. The personalized tour of the historic house next door was an unexpected bonus. Fantastic!
