You need good walking shoes and a bit of stamina to get to the top! Openning hours are from 9-12 or from 3-6 pm , so make sure you visit the place this time. Breathtaking view from the castle!

The castle is very beautiful and there is lots of ruins to see! If you have children they will like it! Or if you are on your own or as a couple it is a beautiful scenery! Next to the castle there is a market place with lovely things to buy! Our children even found a Disney store! The view... More

This castle is extremely impressive. The construction is perfectly well preserved outside. Inside you can experience the way how the medieval people used to live. Good view of the region with the wonderful landscape of Veneto. So interesting to enjoy the Italian living experience!

Although unplanned, seeing this castle was a perfect start to our Italian vacation with Soave as a 1-night stop heading west from Venice airport. The castle is easily doable because not very large but not commercialized as many of the famous ones, but had an authentic old world charm. Good for exploring on your own without guide, but do pay... Dont forget to stop by the innkeepers home and pay your ticket to head up to the castle. No photography is allowed- you can always visit the official website and see great ones. Lots of steps!!

The castle is early Medieval, so it's not huge. It's well-preserved and beautiful. Most of the castles in the area are in ruins, but Soave has been well-maintained. There are some interesting old pieces of furniture in the castle along with some other artifacts. From the top there's an excellent view of the surrounding hills. If you're interested in castles,... I loved this castle. It is well worth a visit and if you feel up to it, the walk via the paths and steps offers views on the way. Although photography is not allowed within the castle interior it is allowed on the outside areas and you can get some wonderful panoramas. The staff are efficient and friendly.

Castle is lovely and I am giving it 5 stars for that but unfortunately the guide only spoke Italian so we didn't get to understand the history of the castle which was a shame given you pay an entry fee and they offer both an Italian brochure and English so we thought they would have an English guide available. Lovely... More

I find this castle are so beautiful. With €7 of entrance you can enjoy the whole castle. From the top you can see the stunning city surrounding of the castle. Will close on Monday. I put some picture the opening hour and the ticketing price, you can check on the pictures.
