I have to agree with Peter from Budapest. Stari Bar is a really interesting ruin, and a great place to wander for a couple hours. The views are wonderful. We also really enjoyed walking through the village before and after our visit. The site is...More

A few kilometers from city centre is the old town of Bar. In the hills, not close to the seafront. And not very easy to find... Mostly it is ruins, and sadly the history of the old town is not easy to learn by this...More

A very large old medieval town mostly in ruins but being restored. Only 2 euros entrance and definitely worth it. It's huge and the views are excellent. It's a steep climb. (My wife disabled with a stick) couldn't make it up and the walkways inside...More

The whole Old Town is quite well preserved, especially the walls and best of all it is really large, so you can walk around the remains of churches, homes, etc. Entrance fee is only 2 Euro

We've been there in early Autumn, which proved to be a wise choice as it gets terribly hot during the Summer. As this is a rugged Mediterannean terrain, don't expect lots of a shade. The Old Town is a nicely preserved place, with numerous remnants...More

The old city is an enjoyable afternoon out. The walled city is in ruins which have been partially restored. The museum is small and city fairly well marked. Entry was inexpensive and the view was beautiful.
