We travelled from Bar to Bari in August after driving down from sunny Suffolk England. After reading a few of the reviews me and my partner were a bit concerned to say the least! However it wasn't as bad as some seem to make out....More

The whole trip was a disaster. To begin with, there is no organization in Bari terminal, long queue and 2 hours delay. Ferry is very dirty, bathrooms not working, people sleeping everywhere. We paid to have a seat reserved in a room and when we...More

The ferry ride itself was fine. Nothing too flash but perfectly adequate. We got a cabin and it was basic but fine. Service in the restaurant was awful and they didn't have many of the food options available. I would advise to bring your own...More

Our trip from Bari to Bar on Montenegrin Lines was an interesting experience. It would be unfair to rate it as 'accommodation' as it is more of a service, so we will be rating it accordingly. Getting there: Bari Port is pretty easy to find,...More

We read the copious terrible reviews and we're ready to to dread this trip. We prepared with bug spray, hand sanitizer, tissues, snacks, and nyquil to help us sleep through. The ride was actually mostly fine. It was helpful to know to arrive very early...More

Hi. I believe it's everyday in high season. Two sailings a day. Daytime and Evening sailing. Not too sure about low season though, sorry. The booking website isn't great sadly. I wouldn't worry too much about the cabins. We... More

We are considering using the ferry line from Bar to Bari, due to travelling with a cat who's not a fan of unnecessary flights, this seems like a better option. Few questions: is it really necessary to arrive 2 hrs prior to departure, as suggested, in order for the ticket office to check your tickets, and 2) what happens once you disembark in Bari-is there customs? As Canadians, it's important for us to get a stamp in the passport upon arrival in the schengen zone otherwise we could get fined upon exit. Thanks to all who could answer!
