I was in the area for a visit to the Hundidero-Gato cave system which lies not far away. This is a trip for speleologists but La Pileta is open to the public and unlike many caves with cave art it has been well protected and...More

Visited this month with the family. Would be good to phone ahead to book a place on a tour, although we managed to get a spot without booking. If it was busier it would have been a bit of a wait otherwise. Caves were great...More

We had a little trouble finding the cave even with GPS. You park in a lot and hike up to a shack where you can purchase tickets and snacks. There are no bathrooms. We were lucky enough to be able to join a tour without...More

You are probably calling out of their operating hours. On their website it says 10:00-12:30 and 16:00-17:00. Good luck!
