Margaret Mitchell's one and only novel, "Gone with the Wind," was born in an apartment in this turn-of-the-century Tudor Revival mansion. Now a museum on the National Register of Historic Places, the house offers visitors a tour that tells the story of the author, the Pulitzer Prize-winning book and the making of the movie.

Very special to sit in the parlour of Margaret Mitchell's home and see the spot where she "penned"/typed the amazing novel. Our guide "Bill" was awesome and made the visit much more informative and interesting.

I have really enjoyed. I like that is not just going around, but also understanding the historic context of that time! If you are a fan of the movie is nice to pass by and listening about the writer :)
