Go Braves

End of an era. I loved going to Turner Field to watch the Braves. Our family has great memories from our trips with family and friends.

I'm not a baseball fan but my friend is so I decided to accompany her. There was so many things other than baseball going on. There was the kissing cam, the cheers, the beer (I don't drink but everyone had a mug in their hand), and so much more. Needless to say now I go to the games.

With Turner Fuels transitioning to from Fulton County to Cobb County, we are looking forward to seeing the new stadium in April 2017. While it looks like the traffic will be another topic, it should be fun for the kids.

Turner field has always been fun to visit! It's a shame they're moving the Braves, but I hope they keep this venue actively useful for many years!

Turner Field, named for Ted Turner was initially the 'arena' for the 1996 Olympics, then converted to the Atlanta Braves home field. The Braves have played their last game at Turner Field and will be moving to their new home in Cobb County for the 2017 season. During it's 20 year run, we have seen many ball games, caught a... On my tour of MLB parks, Turner Field was a really nice one. It was cool to see the Hank Aaron wall and ball mark. Friendly fans, I don't know they're moving.

I've had many great memories here at Turner Field, but the greatest of all was when I was able to spend the day with my late brother Kayo against the Dodgers! The Braves were and are our favorite team, but he, in his last days, LIVED by them!

Growing up the Braves were a fairly legendary team so that may sway my experience at the park. I would say there was nothing spectacular, but also nothing negative about Turner. Didn't try the food, but the beers were cold, the Braves Drum was a picture moment and the outfield seats were cheap and had a great view. The surrounding... More
