The children's gardens are such a great place for kids to interact with nature and get outdoors. My children loved the playground features and snake slithering across the sidewalk and various plant materials scattered around. They loved the canopy walk and the orchid house.

If you are lucky and the weather is nice, it would be a great visit. I find it enjoyable year round when weather is agreeable. A few indoor exhibits. And a rainforest house which is nice but it’s a lot of walking and it’s not as warm inside the exhibits as you would think it would be in cold weather. Good luck!
