Our waitress at Ria's Bluebird told us about the Grant Neighborhood. Decorated in Halloween fair. A few trees have demolished homes in this area. Walked around and through this neighborhood. As we conversed with very kind community members.

Very nice, green and remarkable quiet spot in the middle of a busy area. Nice for a picnic before or after the zoo. Big spaces for kids to run around. Many families there playing games.

This used to be a beautiful park. Still could be, but no one knows how to use a trash can anymore. I was so disappointed.

This park was very shady and a comfortable place to meet. We had a 5K run for a campaign. And though the run had hills and down hills, it was a pleasure. Lots of trees for shade. If you want to meet friends or just...More

Nice park, with a lot of green area and squirrels, but it is also the place for the Zoo, and some sport grounds (like Basketball, and Baseball). You can walk around in an hour, or you can have a run like me to keep you...More

Grant Park is the core of a great neighborhood to wander around. The Park itself offers a zoo and a Saturday farmer's market. It is a good destination in itself. If your schedule allows, wander around the surrounding neighborhood. Lots of nice houses to look...More

Recommended by our AirBnB host. So glad we stopped before leaving town on a Sunday! Great vendors & yummy eats! Had a little bit of everything! The pizza, crepes, bagel with a caper schmere & donuts! Loved it all.

We lived in Grant Park for seven years and our house was two driveways from the Park. We have a recumbent tricycle for adults (named Trina, lol) and we used to take Trina Tricycle to the park to ride. The Zoo is not very big...More

I am fortunate enough to know people in this nice neighborhood who have let me stay in their stunning Victorian home. This neighborhood is filled with charming homes in wonderful condition, many of which with expansive front porches. Almost unheard of in new neighborhoods, Grant...More

Quiet little park that's pretty nice, located decently close to Downtown. Would recommend going just for a morning stroll of something, but nothing much to see in the area.
