Piedmont Park is a Big Park. If you like outdoor walking, running, sunning and socializing, this is the place in Downtown Atlanta.

I really like Piedmont Park. There's always lots of people out for a walk, run, or bike ride but it never feels crowded and everyone always seems pleasant, especially on the trails away from the central attractions. I especially like the unpaved trails- almost no one there and you feel like you are no longer in the middle of a... More

This past Saturday, my roommate Ilana and I went to Piedmont Park. I had a unique Piedmont Park experience in that I had my own personal tour guide. Ilana is an Atlanta native and was able to show me all of her favorite places. We were lucky enough to have absolutely beautiful weather. We started the day with a nice... More

What a nice surprise in the middle of the city. It's quiet enough for a leisurely walk, but you can also get a game of kick ball volleyball or soccer going. Saw lots of families and dogs, which is great!

Being from Atlanta myself, Piedmont Park is one of my favorite attractions. Piedmont Park has beautiful, sprawling fields and great views of Atlanta. It has opportunities for everyone from any walk of life. For athletes there’s sports fields and a track and for families there’s multiple playgrounds. Dog owners are attracted to the newly expanded dog parks and couples may... More

If you want to walk around on a sunny day, then Piedmont Park is the place for you. It is a lovely park with various walking paths and there is a large playground for kids. I enjoyed a leisurely walk on a coolish Sunday afternoon.

Thus famous park has everything. In the center of midtown Atlanta. It's the host of all festivals from Gay Ptlride to Music Midtown. Great place to relax, fun, or People watch. Great for a weekend afternoon.

I am relatively new to Atlanta, and early on I discovered Piedmont Park. I was very pleasantly surprised with both the size and beauty of the park. There is a lot of space and a lot of paths for walking, jogging or cycling. There seem to be a lot of events that take place there too. The proximity to downtown... More
