I love going to see plays here as often as I can, and the actors and actresses never disappoint! ATL has lots of options as far as entertainment, but this place is definitely in my top 5 out of things to do in town. I strongly recommend that you make dinner plans for before or after seeing a show here,... More

Out of the ordinary performance of Chaucer (not Shakespeare this time). A small venue with friendly helpful staff and good food ensured fun relaxing evening. Actors brought the flamboyant characters to colorful life resulting in continuous laughter by the audience. If you want just plain fun, give this a try.

We attended the Canterbury Tales. Excellent mix of classic stories with some modern twists thrown in. The actors and staff were great. Huge fan of dessert and drink options. Root beer and cream soda floats. If it's your first time don't hesitate to mention it. They might include you as part of the play. Wasn't a huge fan of the... More

The idea seemed fun and up until we were seated we were very excited. The staff are all very pleasant! The play in itself was good. Not sure why they toggled back and forth in the way they spoke but it still had their funny parts. The dinner that they provided was average to other plays that we have been... More

From the outside you would think the place empty but that quickly changes once inside. The waiting area is cozy and has a nice bar with a good beer selection, a musician playing the guitar, and a table with souvenirs. Once the theater doors open an hour prior to the show you get the chance to have dinner by purchasing... More

Went with a group of 39 students and 13 parents... the food was tasty and delicious for the grownups , but the kids didn't enjoy the meal as much ( they are picky at this age).... the play and actors were excellent and I was glad these students were exposed to this cultural experience..

Playhouse seats 200 and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Chose between 3 types of seats and then it is 1st come 1st serve in your area. We got there 1 hour before the curtain went up and were left with about 3 choices for tables in our area. So get there when the doors open if possible... More

We recently attended Romeo & Juliet. The acting was very good, the food was great and reasonably priced which you can order before the play begins. Dessert is available for purchase at intermission and it was very good as well. All the seats in the theater were great seats. Overall very nice Playhouse Theater!

Have been to the Tavern many times over the past few years. Seems to be the best place to be truly entertained. Of course, the Shakespeare plays - and their ilk - are always fun to watch and the performers are all great and diverse. Have also seen a few other non-Billy-Shake (sorry, reference to an inside joke from my... More

My wife and I attended "Romeo and Juliet" with our 15 year old son. The show was simply outstanding. Shakespeare really came to life, with excellent acting from all actors, wonderful costuming, and strong staging. The food was good and reasonably priced. The apple pecan crisp with ice cream was particularly good (only served during intermission). The service from everyone... More
