I gave a review of this on the ATL History Center, but The Swan House is worthy of its own. I LOVED this home. I LOVED the story of the Inman's as told by Ruby the designer. She was wonderfully informed, loved to tell my kids and I stories, she had my 11&12 yo completely engrossed. She listened to their... More

Tour on a Saturday afternoon. Parking is on a lower area then front entrance. So you do have to walk up a hill. Main reason for this visit was to see the Swan house. Beautiful sight to see. Wish this visit could of been in a warmer season with full blooms of the gardens. House is amazing. Was on a... More

Great place to visit especially if you are at the Civil War Exhibit because they are next to each other. I purchased a pass and visit often.

So this house retains the splendour of an era passed, and as you walk around unrestricted you can soon see the difference between the owners and the staff rooms. with guides on hand in period dress it makes an interesting visit.

Very interesting building. e were keen to tour the house due to it's use in the filming of several of the "Hunger Games" movies.

This mansion is a stately example of how the wealthy among us lived during the 1930s. It has breathtaking views and has much of the original fixtures and furniture. While there are parts of the estate that are wheelchair accessible, the upper and lower levels are not. As a part of the admission price, there are many interesting exhibits at... More

Beautiful house with expensive furniture, drapes, silverware, etc. These people lived large! The guide dressed in costume as the architect in the basement was hilarious. Really stuck to character. There was no guided tour this day, so I'll definitely go back for that.

My fiance and I visited the Swan House on our visit to the Atlanta Historical Center. The home and grounds were beautiful and the staff on hand were extremely knowledgeable and willing to talk about any part of the home we had questions about.
