Small and interesting, accessible all on one floor, good for kids (and adults) with short attention spans

The current exhibit on the future design of food was very interesting and well curated, and tracked neatly around most of the ground floor, with live exhibits and interesting information. Lots of space for kids to do hands on work, like sitting and drawing, and easy for a family not to lose each other. The second small exhibit also had... More

The staff is INCREDIBLE at MODA!! They are SO tuned into patrons, SO amazingly aware of current trends, emerging markets, and scientific information. We were very impressed with the thought that went into their exhibits and the personability that brought the exhibits to life and made them relevant to us. There were plenty of diverse hands-on activities for each of... More

This museum don'y have any permanent collection. They only have small theme exhibit. I think even $10 is too high entrance fee for what we got.

I was there in and out, it took about 30 minutes. Almost missed the 30 minutes parking time frame nearby. The entrance fee was low ($10) but I feel like they couldn't ask for more. The guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic, but it wasn't really that interesting to me. Maybe because I was expecting graphic design. I didn't know... More

,We expected to see examples of design furniture like Danish and Swedish product. What we got was completely different: the focus is on the new ( and future) possibility that technology is giving people to make their own pieces, to integrate technology in daily products, to make life/products easier, safer and more fun. We had a very enthusiast guide but... More

Cool tech design exhibit. They also have a 3d printer that you can use to custom design a pen for $5

The current exhibit highlighted the history and evolution of "user-centered" design. In other words, the system of designing for people of all shapes, sizes, needs and desires. It was fascinating to see some of the bizarre products that were conceived and prototypes made even though the products did make it to distribution. Even though the exhibit is very small, it... Fun exhibits that are changed out constantly. The space itself is quite small but if you have spare time with nothing to do, it's should be a nice visit.

We went in late 2015 for the exhibit about 3-D printing. We liked it enough to return late with friends. The museum itself is rather small, and is limited to 1 exhibit at a time. However, if you check and find an exhibit you're interested in, it is well worth the $10 per adult ($5 for those under 18) charge.... More
