Nothing like live music. The house band, The Shadows, backed blues singer, Francine Reid. We stayed for only the first set which began at 9:30 and ended about 10:45. The sound level was just about right. It was a full house with every chair and...More

What a fantastic place. If you are looking for this authentic southern blues feeling where everything just blends into a deep rhythm. Blended with solos from sax, guitar and not least fantastic harp playing... go there when the house band the shadows are playing.

Get there early, get your seats, and get ready to hear some great blues music. Big Bill and The Shadows are playing when you visit, I hope. Either way, this "dive" brings the best to the city. Word of caution for the discerning foodies: eat...More

..... on our way to dinner up the street, we only peeped into this great music venue, and to be fair the menu could be unexciting, but the atmosphere is all blues-bar, dark, brooding, magnificent. .

My oldest took me and her younger sister to Blind Willie's for a Saturday night treat. It is a small, intimate venue. Tables are right up close to the stage. The music was popp'n and the place was PACKED! We arrived about 8-8:30 and they...More

When here whilst visiting friends who live in atlanta. The bar is quite small but the atmosphere is amasing! Sweet betty and the shadows were playing. The lady's voice was fantastic. Well worth a visit for the experience

Went on a Saturday night after the band started. I was able to get the last seat at the bar. Sandra Hall and The Shadows were great. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. Prices were also very reasonable. I can't wait to go back!

Not much to it - brick walls, small stage but good prices. We went to see Delta Moon and they were great. This made the place very crowded.
