The Concord Public Library has a great website that allows a user to browse, put holds on books, and check in to see what the user has checked out. There is also the option of receiving phone texts and or email to notify users about materials that are coming due.

Nice people. Great collection. Self checkout. Great PCs. Nice sitting area. Calm and quiet unlike many libraries these days. Kudos!

The Wyeth exhibit was interesting and well done for what I would describe as a small town library. Well worth the time to check it out.

The building itself is beautiful, plenty of polished wood, wonderful layout, open spaces and separate rooms for quiet study and reading. Comfortable chairs in most rooms and the area near the front desk. Good book selection and an art exhibit. I wanted to stay just to enjoy the beauty of the building.

My wife is a librarian, so we make an effort to visit libraries whenever we travel and had high expectations for the Concord Public Library, given the historical significance and literary tradition of the area. It is a lovely little library that I am quite sure serves its local public as it should, but we didn't find much there that... More

I live in Concord and the library is one of my favorite places. It's definitely a rock of the community, but if you're visiting it's also a nice place to swing by. There are busts of many of the local figures, some lovely art and a gallery featuring an artist upstairs. You can read the paper or pick a book... More

A friend of mine and I needed to meet halfway between our residences and Concord Library was a perfect midway point. Although we weren't residents of Concord, we were allowed to use one of the conference rooms. The library itself is pleasant and comfortable.

America's Historical, cultural, architectural treasure, and very important place to enjoy art, sculptures of Daniel French, and of course the rare books and archives.

I always have thought the Concord Free Public Library was a wonderful place to visit, but I think what may be of true interest to visitors of this town are the sense of history embodied here. There are also historic books, papers and collections here to browse. I love libraries, in general, but this one is a gem.

Thank Richard P
