We were concerned about Out of Africa being a tourist trap, but we were delighted to discover a well run wildlife experience! Everyone we encountered cared about the animals' welfare and were passionate about sharing their knowledge. Definitely worth a visit!

My husband and I zip-lined over the Out of Africa Wildlife park in January. Our guides were Jasper and Chris and they were great. These zip lines are between towers which are placed in the animal park. We had a great view of the animals...More

Took my daughter here for a mom/daughter date. We both loved it! The safari ride was ahh-mazing and the up close encounter with the giraffe was pretty cool. All the animals were out and about, wandering and being nosey. When visiting other zoos it seems...More

We took my daughter here for her birthday. She had a blast and enjoyed watching the tiger splash show and the safari ride the most. We had an awesome time as a family overall.

They emphasize that they are a Wildlife Park not a Zoo. I am not sure exactly what the difference is technically, but I can tell you a couple of things. They seem to have more tigers than anything else. But they do have other animals....More

Place is run down but it must be expensive to run a place like this. Decent collection of exotic animals that seem well taken care of. Tiger Splash is a dud, but comes with the general admission. If bringing small children, be prepared to be...More

Was going to go to South Africa for this, but had an awesome experience here on American soil! The place was stunning, and the tour guide was both knowledgeable and kind. Best experience and would go back in a second!

At first impression was a bit of a disappointment but that changed in a hurry when we took the tours and got to see the place and the animals up close. We took the Unimog tour which was worth it. Got to feed the Giraffes...More

I expected MUCH more after seeing such high reviews. We took our grand daughters there when visiting us from California. They enjoyed it but we found it lacking... We walked the whole complex on a dirty/dusty road eating dust every time workers would drive by....More

This was a great place to go with friends or with family. Kids would love it. You walk outside and see the animals then you get into a bus for a safari type adventure through a gated area to get up close.

That is a great question. We have several different tigers that take turns playing in the Tiger Splash Show. The tiger(s) that plays in the show is generally the cat for the feed-a-tiger opportunity, which isis maybe two... More
