Looking for adventure? Is water your element? Then, Pinsal Falls just pins in the list of your Ilocos Sur must-tries. You cannot leave the place without trying the rush of douse down under the waterfalls. 😍

Pinsal Falls is located in Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur, my home province. It takes 30 minutes or more travel time from the Central Market to the Falls. Central Market is situated along the highway so if you want to go to Pinsal Falls commuting, you may ride a tricycle from the market. The cost would depend on how long you... More

We went there last March 12, 2016. Although it was summer and there was not enough water because of El nino, we were greeted by a majestic landscape. The place still needs maintenance and improvement. Very few people know the place which I think is somewhat good because it is not yet crowded. We paid P100 for the guide and... More

We went here October 2015, and the bridge going here was recently destroyed by flooding (so we had to take a longer route). The falls are just beautiful! There is a fairly steep hike going to the actual falls (but the trail is paved). Bring your own food, towels, and toiletries. It's sad that some people have vandalized the rocks... More

It was really far and the road going there is quite tricky. But it was really worth it. I would advice to go in the wet months to see the full beauty of the falls. we went in summer and the water is quite small but still a pretty sight. I would also advice to drive there than rely on... More

If you are travelling to Vigan, then this is a must-see on the way there. There is only one signpost off the main road, after the church heading north, and then a short 3 km stretch of very windy road through several barangay villages. Well worth the 20 pesos parking fee, this is a truly beautiful waterfall set in beautiful... More

Pinsal Falls is located in a town called Santa Maria in Ilocos Sur. If you live in Manila and would like to go there using a private vehicle, It would take you about 9 to 10 hours. Although, you're not going to have a bumpy ride, as the roads are cemented, it would be better to drive a 4x4 as... More
