Denia marina
Jul 2021
The port is quite large and very lively, especially in the evening. There are many restaurants and discos. It is pleasant for a walk and has a good view of the castle.

Time to contemplate
Oct 2019
Whenever we had the chance we used the ‘Free boat’ the solar panelled Pansetta. Based at the port end of the most famous street Marques de Campo..
A short very quiet ride to access, the Baleria Ferry or small shops and Bars / restaurants with photogenic views of the Castle. Try Fischer’s for a wide range of foods and drinks, good service always.
Unfortunately getting this boat to get a ferry from the bus, (no trains anymore) is quite a distance for most people. Add a Taxi to your holiday costs.

Great for a stroll
Nov 2019 • Couples
Lovely to take a stroll around and enjoy looking at the yachts and the castle up Inn the hill - either by day or night. Good place for bars and cafes too. Watch out for big waves topping the breakwater!

Lovely Stroll with Bars and Restaurants
Oct 2019
This site at the back of the marina can be either walked to or you can catch the solar powered launch from the centre of the seafront. There are lovely views of the castle both in the daytime and at night.

Great way to start the day
Sep 2019
Interesting Marina to wander round but my favourite part was the harbour walls first thing in the morning. Cycled down ,out to the end of the wall, watch the local rod and line fishermen, then coffee and croissant or breakfast at Mala Vita situated on the wall when it opened at 9am. Sat there before the heat of the day with my coffee looking over the med, few people about, watching the boats etc going out was perfect. I was in Denia for a week and this became my routine every morning. Perfect

The Shalimar Boat.
Jul 2019 • Friends
Spent the weekend in Dénia on this wonderful rustic style boat with friends. It was a lovely place to stay. Plenty to do. Lots of bars and restaurants. For a weekend of fun would recommend here. The staff were very helpful. Always on hand when need. Will be returning soon.

A pleasant smallish marina
Jul 2019 • Couples
It is nice to walk around in the early evening and look back over the water to Denia. If you time it when the sun is going down and the town lights are on, it makes for a nice photo.
There are a good range of restaurants.
The many booths that sell trinkets and the funfare is slightly tacky, but has an appeal for many.

Well worth a visit
Jun 2019 • Couples
It is lovely to stroll around the marina & have a coffee, a meal or a drink, take in some shopping or just to watch the world go by. The huts nearest the road, which look like beach huts are open each evening til late & sell an assortment of crafts, clothes, gifts, jewellery, bags etc. Very chilled & no pressure to purchase. Well worth a visit.
