Our family of 6 were booked to go on the 5 hour trip from Calpe. Unfortunately due to a one-word mix-up between English and Spanish this was a disaster. Arrived at Calpe very early before boat departure SPECIFICALLY to get on the boat first and get a spot on the nets. As they started loading the staff were calling people on who had wrist bands first. When we queried this it turns out they had prepaid for this and therefore could get on to the nets. This was not made clear ANYWHERE on the website so firstly we were told ok to pay the extra on board and we would be able to sit on the nets. I sit on the nets then another member of staff says no we must get off. This staff member tells us the boat is too busy and cannot have any more people on the nets. We argue this point because there were several Spanish families on the nets without wearing wristbands and no-where did it say about paying extra for this. For goodness sake it’s a Catamaran of course we want to sit on the nets! That is the whole point. (we spoke to another group who were also unaware about the extra for nets and were disappointed they had to sit inside) Staff then say we can get refund and to collect this at the ticket office by the harbour. So off we get, head to the ticket office and surprise, surprise it’s another different story. The boss is called on the phone and point blank refuses to give refund. The ticket office lady is telling us it’s our fault because how can we expect to come to Spain and see everything in English. This is a valid point but our argument was on the English version of the Mundo Marino website everything is translated into English APART from the one-word Prices are +RED which apparently means the nets! By this time the Boat has left the harbour and we are left over €300 out of pocket. They did offer to move trip to another day but 4 of us were flying back to the UK the very next day. 2 of the party booked for another day., purely to not lose so much money. Very disappointing. All the staff told us different things. A wasted morning.

Hello, we are sorry for all the trouble, but when you buy the ticket, either online or at the ticket shop, there are two price options the basic entrance fee and the priority fee which includes the nets. Everyone wants to lay on the front nets but there is not enough space for everyone, that’s why we have ti limit the number of people. In the past, people would stand in line for an hour in advance to get space on the nets, but we have tried to improve that so you can just pay an extra 6€ then you get a wristband to identify that you can go on the nets. In case that there is space left you can also buy it onboard, but obviously there may be people who bought in advance, and the space is limited I don’t know why did the boat leave without you if you were there already, I’m sorry you couldn’t enjoy the trip and I hope next time you can book the nets in advance if you want. We will try to inform better about this issue. Thanks for the comment

Review of: Parasailing
We did the Parasailing with Mundo Marino and The Wicked team 🤗 A magical experience that is fun yet suprisingly relaxing. The team put yourself at ease and is caring about your well-being. Up in the air you face the immensity of the blue Mediterranean in a complete silence, you only hear the breeze of the air. You feel like a bird. My advice : take the time to close your eyes, meditate and enjoy the moment. I totally recommend this experience for those you want to try something different and have fun. Thank you 😊

I sailed on Thursday 23/07/2020 at 20.00h the brand new Catamaran . the female staff member in the office was very nice and helpful .90 people were on board ,. there was some confusion and a bit of complaint as there were too many people on the top deck seating. the seats had not been marked out with "X;s" to reduce the seating for social distancing.. also the "toilet"compartment is not marked " toilet"The trip went well with the free drink served and the fore sail was set and we got great photos of the sunset over the mountains. back on time and as we left the boat all ideas of social distancing was abandoned!
