We had an enjoyable half day at this little zoo. There are pleasant walks around the grounds to view the animals and a few extra activities for younger children to enjoy, such as the play areas and indoor soft play. I would echo the concerns...More

I'm not a great fan of seeing animals in cages so I wasn't expecting much. For young children there is lots to do. There is a big bouncy play area , it's like a huge bouncy castle but doesn't have sides which the kids loved....More

This small zoo is dedicated to creatures from South America and so there are animals here you don't often see in mainstream zoos, ranging from the cute (maras) to the downright scary (anacondas). The enclosures are clean and tidy and the animals, including the big...More

We visited amazons zoo earlier this year and had a good time with family including a toddler. Lot,s of picnic areas and the cafe has reasonably priced coffee. I would prefer not to see big cats in a zoo but the two that are there...More

Some animal welfare issues. Cages for the bigger animals are far too small. Pumas pacing repetitively backwards and forwards is not a good sign. The Caiman numbers have apparently been reduced because of aggression, I'm not surprised, with the size of the enclosure. Some of...More

This is a lovely small zoo and great to walk around and see all the animals. I especially loved the Mara who roam free across the park and the guinea pig village. However, I was concerned about the larger animals - the jaguar enclosure is...More

Amazonia was an unexpected find . We came to Cromer to walk and relax on the beach, however the tide was in and so there was no beach. Luckily just a short walk from the town we found Amazonia. The children just love it and...More

We had read reviews on TripAdvisor that nearly put us off going but I am glad we ignored them. It is a pleasant and well kept smaller zoo with two lovely play areas (one inside). We spent around 3 1/2 hours here. We bought a...More

There was no need to worry because actually all 7 of us had a fab day out! Grandparents, myself and kids from ages 1 to 7 all loved it. I would say animals look happy, relaxed and well looked after. We were there for 5...More

Hi - there was a rain shower when we were there. Most is open, but you can stay indoors for some parts, like the more tropical animals. There is a yurt play/education space and of course the indoor soft play. The cafe has... More

There are a few entry prices depending on if you are going on your own or with a family. The website has the details but I think it's £11.50 for an adult £8.50 per child or £35 for a family of four. Carers go free.
