Great walk! We did the audio tour and learned so much! Their book store inside isn't nearly as big. It had great puzzles though. You can see Mt Rushmore from every angle and quite close up if you take this trail walk.

This relatively easy hike affords the visitors many close-up views of the fantastic monument from all different angles. There are many benches along the way for people to sit, relax and enjoy the views.

We spend the whole morning taking pictures and learning about the Presidential Trail. We later on went back around 7 p.m. for the fireworks. It was great.

Depends on your stamina. I recommend clockwise, but either way works fine. My reasoning is that clockwise takes you to the close in viewing points sooner. And sometimes you will see mountain goats along that section of... More
