If you are thinking of skipping Mount Rushmore on your trip to the Black Hills, don't. The visitor's center has documentaries to see and there is a Presidential Trail you can walk along to see the carvings from different angles.

On a rainy day the faces look like they are crying! Faces of the Presidents are 60 feet high. There is a museum, cafeteria, great gift shops...it is incredible and a place to be sure and visit

They say it will be 95% near rapid city. Won't be the full 100% but it will be close.

Good morning Glen, The walkways are 100% accessible, from your car to the main part of the museum I would say is about a 10 minute walk. There are elevators are in both the garage and museum.
