The museum is a grassroots effort to give voice to the African American experience in Natchez. The docent was extremely attentive and guided us through the entire collection. Her personal experience as a lifelong resident of Natchez added depth to her understanding and description of...More

Great collection of materials about life in Natchez that really comes to life thanks to private tour with curator. He selected interesting stories to keep the kids engaged during the museum tour. Brings the history of Natchez alive better than any plantation home.
