Great, interesting, guided tour, Hal does tricks (smiling, and kissing), for treats, My daughter loved giving him carrots (supplied by Guy) and was reassured that Hal was a happy horse. We enjoyed this so much, got lots of personalized tips, re Natchez Trace and restaurants, shops. We were only there for 1 day, next time will stay longer, SO much... More

We stopped in Natchez overnight on our way to our final destination. There was so much to see in Natchez, but we knew we couldn't begin to see a fraction of it. This carriage tour was the perfect compromise. We were able to see some of the main attractions with history and background provided. The guide was very personable and... More

When we first arrive in a new city we always take a carriage tour if one is available. It is a good way to find one's way around and learn quite a bit about the town too. Bob, the human and Clyde, the horse cum tour guide gave us a good introduction to historic Natchez and a fun time while... More

Going on a carriage ride is a much slower pace than driving by in a car. You learn the history of the houses and the people that lived in them. It also affords you the luxury of actually being able to view and soak in the little details of these homes. This is just one more way to soak in... More

Randy, our tour guide, and Champ, his horse, were great ambassadors for Natches. The guide was knowledgeable and loved the town and people, giving us some serious history with his wonderful sense of humor. This is a great way to start your time in Natches!

Did the horse drawn carriage tour on a Saturday around 11am. Got our tickets at the Visitor's Center. $20/adult. We parked across the street from where the tour starts. Since it was a weekend, we didn't get towed or ticketed for parking in the government lot. The ticket is not specific to a time slot. We just parked as the... More

We went for the carriage ride on a Wednesday morning. Our driver was Randy and he did a super job. He gave us plenty of info and we thoroughly enjoyed his humor. Would highly recommend you to take the time to do this trip.

We went there multiple times over our week stay in Natchez. Not one time did we find the carriage there ready to take anyone on a ride. We did find a white board with an approximate time for a return. That never panned out either. The first time we went, we found 7 other people waiting for the driver. We... More

My wife and I took this gentle tour around Natchez first thing in the morning and what a pleasant experience it was. To be honest I can't remember the guys name who drove but he was both informative and funny as we wound our way along streets filled with fine Antebellum homes. He imparted his chat in a kind of... After waiting 55 mins and being talked to rudely by Randy (he said he was just "picking") for a carriage ride, my elderly dad asked when we would go because his hip hurt--Randy told us to get off. Stunned we asked if he would our money back and he said "yeah". I had to call the owner to get her... More
