This was my favorite mansion, most likely because we had a young tour guide that was enthusiastic and full of knowledge! Some of our tour guides at other mansions seemed as if questions were an imposition, etc. Our young lady welcomed questions and was very vibrant. Thanks for a great tour!

Love the story of the daughter Miss Fanny, she left her home at age 11 to go to school in New York, returning around age 18/19 years of age after accomplishing so many things. Five languages, extremely talented in art and music. She lived a very full and exciting life in her home with a spectacular view of the Mississippi... More

This is a wonderful history tour not only of the mansion but also Natchez in that time frame. The tour guide was very informative and ready to answer any questions. The rich history of the three families that owned this home and is now owned by the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) is pretty amazing.

The most well-preserved home we've seen in our many travels, and we hit every one we can find. You can visualize exactly how the homeowners lived because everything is EXACTLY the same as it was originally. The furnishings are stunning! I also recommend seeing the Stanton and Longwood. If southern homes are you thing, make sure you come in the... More

This home is beautiful and well maintained by the DAR group. The are stairs that have to be climbed so those with mobility issues will not be able to take this tour. Original furniture is in the home and the tour guide is thorough in her knowledge of the history of the home: her people and events. The cost is... More

This was a very beautiful home and worth seeing just because it is the oldest in Natchez with the most original furnishings. Complaint is the same as other homes, can't take pictures!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The tour guide was knowledgeable and took her time showing us this fabulous home. The parsonage across the street is lovely as well, though we only saw the outside.

The preserved furniture and furnishings are one of a kind. The location on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi is also unique.
