Stop here first and learn pertinent information about everything in Natchez so you can plan your outings. Many outings (tours, homes) sell their tickets at the Visitor Center. There is also a very nice gift shop that you won't want to miss.

Very helpful staff and information and interesting exhibits. A great place to start your visit to Natchez and grab a hop-on, hop-off bus for an hour-long overview of the city. Greg Miles was a terrific tour guide with them BTW.

If you want to tour plantations, you will need to visit the large homes out in the country. Just google Louisiana and Mississippi plantations.
