We stayed nearer the centre of town but decided to walk down the Punta Gorda one evening as the sun was setting. It's a lovely view across the Malecón when the sun is setting. Plenty of locals sitting, drinking and socialising. Go all the way...More

It is the most beautiful part of Cienfuegos city. I visited many interrsting places there and I enjoyed my time there a lot. You can find the Jagua Hotel, the Yatch Club, and many Restaurantes.

If you want to enjoy a nice sunset in Cienfuegos, this is the place. They have a small bar and you can enjoy a drink while watching the amazing sunset. It is not a hidden spot, you will find some other tourist too.

We found this area quite relaxing and with some interesting colonial buildings. This area is surrounded by the ocean and so it is for the people who like nature even though living very near to a city.
