This place made us laugh ! Certainly built during the Soviet era, even the tourists are mostly Eastern European (and fun I might add) - the rooms are stale and moldy/mildew in the bathrooms and the cafeteria style food was awful. The beach bar was...More

The beach is fun, clean and you can visit with locals. The beach at the hotel is nice, however the public beach is less weedy. Water is warm and very appreciated on a hot day.

I was in Cuba several years ago and my favorite part was a lagoon with hundreds of amazing flamingos. I think it was near Rancho Luna Beach. Is my memory correct?
