The icefjord is why people come to Ilulissat. The boat excursion through the icebergs was the highlight of our trip. Definitely not to be missed.

Seeing this icefjord from both land and boat is amazing. Walk the marked hiking routes (if the weather allows you), they are all great hikes. Blue route is longest and most difficult. Yellow is probably the most beautiful. By boat you get near the huge...More

Just amazing to see the glacier and ice. Take a midnight cruise during summer. Look for whales and the midnight sun!

there a few walks you can do and the one up the settlement is in the unesco listed area; both walks are great and offer different views; we did each of them twice at different times as it offered different light

We were going to evening cruise until midnight. Midnight sun over the iceberg was very gorgeous. Even in summer, you should dress warm, especially if you want to take some picture outside the boat

I walked on blue trail twice, kayaked in a day and took midnight boat tour. Iceberg changes daily. It is just amazing. It could be quiet. It could be loud. Iceberg is blue when it is cloudy. Iceberg adds golden glow with midnight sun. Make...More

Booked a boat tour through the icefjord and was not disappointed!! Trip lasted about 2.5-3hours and the Captain even broke up a few small icebergs just to panic the tourists😂 Worth the money

I am not sure which boat you will be on, but it could be a fisherman's boat. When we were there we had to climb down a latter to get on board. So it could be a bit tricky for you.
