After visiting a couple of other beaches we liked this one best. It is big enough to find your spot without feeling like you are into someone else's space. Beach is fairly steep so not great for surfing. Reasonable snorkelling

Nice sand and this beautiful beach is fun. Water is a bit ruff most times. Clean sand and lifeguards on duty too. Parking can be tuff if you get there late.

Don't turn your back on the waves here! This beach is gorgeous for views and fun for boogie boarding when waves are up. The water colour and sand are great.

Of course the infamous Little Beach is just over the knob, but the two are separate and forever divided. Big Beach got its name honestly. It's wide, long, and beautiful. It also has a nasty shore break so watch out for it. What's that about? Listen up. Big Beach got its mountains of sand from wave action. It faces open... More

This beach was great! The sand was so soft, no rocks/etc. anywhere! Very large waves which were fun to ride (but maybe not for everyone)

No one use to know about this beach until the last few years. They have upgraded the parking lot and put ports potties in so now more people are going there. This beach has a huge soft sand beach and lots of crashing waves. I personally won't "swim" out in it because the break is so powerful. But, sitting on... More

Nice beach in the Kapalua area. Apparently used mainly by the locals and people renting nearby properties. Accessible through the Kapalua coastal hiking trails. There is a free public parking nearby. Saw board surfers some days. Families with children most of the time.

If you're looking for a great laying-out beach that's incredibly uncrowded, go to Oneloa Beach. It was amazing. It's right up the road from the very busy Napili and Kapalua Bay beaches, but hardly anyone seems to go here! And I came on the Saturday & Sunday before Memorial Day, so not exactly slow beach days. There is a parking... More

A few locals and even fewer tourists. A good beach worth the drive. No lifeguard but who cares, they will just shout at you anyway. A local came down to surf and left his dog on the beach to hang out with us while he shredded the waves, we fed him some ice cubes and he liked it!. I liked... More

Long, uncrowded beach with sandy bottom- but please heed the warnings about the dangerous shore break. It is no joke! We went on the day after a storm and the wind and serf were high, but we were able to find a shady sheltered spot higher up in the tree line. Beautiful...
