A friend suggested this beach. We were underwhelmed. Big time. Waves were very large and choppy. My daughter went out 1x to boogie board and gave up. Beach width is relatively small. Beach is fairly crowded. I wasn't a fan.

This beach is right in front of the Farimont Kea Lani. It is very clean and has great sand. NO shells or weeds. Great for Boogie Boarding and body surfing for big kids and adults. The waves do get a little fierce so little kids beware!

Hard to find but worth it for a beach of solitude and mild surf.park on the road and walk thru the trees. A few locals, mainly hoales, and a few tourists

There are many beaches on this part of the island. That said, Polo is my favourite. Just off the Fairmont hotel, it is a great location. Lots of parking and a short walk down. Washrooms available and if you need a drink, just buy one at the hotel bar.

Travel to Maui often and always go to Polo at least a few times. Not crowded, easy to get to, and great swimming. We like to boogie board and this beach has nice waves that on most mornings are not to bad. Usually on this side of the Island the winds pick up after 11ish so it's best to enjoy... More

spent several afternoons at this beach while staying at Wailea. Always at available parking, with some spots usually in the shade. North side of the beach is crowded with lounge chairs from the Fairmont hotel. Found a couple of nice shady spots near the path down to the south side of the beach.

This was a nice little beach spot at the end of the Wailea-Makena Beach Path, right before the Polo Beach Hotel. Great place to take photos or just sit at sunrise/sunset.

Beautiful beach, smooth perfect sand, gentle slope in, clear waters! When the whales are there you can often see them right from the beach!

Polo Beach is a great place to kick back in your lounge chair with your umbrella and simply enjoy the water!
