Wailea Beach is beautiful. Waves were manageable for swimming and playing with children. It wasn't too crowded during our stay. The only downside is that it was a walk from the Marriott while carrying a chair, towel, bag, etc.

Soft sandy palm lined public beach, used mainly by hotel guests of the Grand Wailea, Four Seasons and Marriott resorts which line its shores.

Small waves crashing on a sandy shore, blue water, you can snorkel on either side of the beach, and generally it is not too crowded. This is a place to bring your small kids and a boogy board.

One of the iconic beaches of Maui. Quiet surf in the AM, wind picks up in the afternoon (at least in October) making it a bit of a sandblasting. Rental chairs and umbrellas available. Good parking.

Such a beautiful beach and plenty space to walk and snorkel. The con side is too many children and high decibel. Still better than the West Maui beaches.

Great beach for kids. Nice small grain sand and small waves. Had a blast body surfing with my 9 and 7 yo. Snorkeling is fair off the left side with some small live reef and several species if fish. Way too many people for my like which is the reason for 4 stars. If that doesn't bother you, this would... More

The sand was so soft, the ocean was very blue and a nice place to cool off. Lots of families relaxing on the beach.

The beaches of Wailea are white, clean and nearly smooth. Wailea Beaches are beside the wonderful resorts and hotels of Wailea. You can walk all of Maui beaches since all beaches are public property. Walk, run or just sit to enjoy the views on the Pacific Ocean. Sunsets are the best.

It's a busier beach but still has lots of room so you're not one on top of another. Some high end hotels are on this beach so it's nice to stop off at one for a drink or snack. First time, there were some waves but it was calm the next time we went. It's a good size and clean.... More

Clean beach, nice sand all the way out. It didn't seem too crowded and not a lot of people walking by as there is a sidewalk near for pedestrians
