A beautiful beach without the crowds

Beautiful place to watch the sunset. Beach was not crowded at all and had easy access to the hotels.

This beach is fickle, it can have medium crashing waves or small waves depending on the swell. (A medium wave can roll an adult if caught in the break.) Nice part about this beach is the water is shallow with sand for a long distance out, and you can walk past the break and enjoy the ocean. Occasional sea turtles.... More

Sunset did not disappoint on our day. By then the crowds were gone and the beach was wonderful. It was a groomed beach with no trash around. The sand was very fine. I loved that you don't have to stay there to go to the "fancy" beach.

We arrived at this beach with the intention of having a great day however on our walk down my daughter started to feel sick however as we approached there was something amazing. 3 humpback whales 100 ft from shore. It was amazing. So close you could swim to them. It wasn't the nicest beach in Hawaii and was over crowded... More

Go early, it gets crowded but the water is so nice and mostly calm. My sister and I bought floats up at the grand Wailea and just floated in the water, very relaxing. There is also a place to rent paddle boards, and other fun beach stuff to make your day great. When we got hungry we went up to... More

Stunning views, of course, but pretty densely packed particularly by Australian standards. If you can get past that, lovely place for a dip in clear warm tropical salt

Header says it all, I guess I'd add that if you have teen kids who want to boogie board, then is head north to Kapalua's DT Fleming beach which is gorgeous, has less people and awesome waves.

This is a great beach! Not a lot of rocks underneath to cut your feet. The sand is nice. The waves are awesome. It's probably a little rough for very small kids but for kids perhaps eight and up they will have a blast!

White sand and good waves. Really nice for a day or a week on the beach. Water is great and feels nice in the hot weather.

Great beach for swimming, snorkeling, scuba, kayaking, or just laying back in a chair and taking paradise in!
