The Tres Tombos was only a 15-minute drive from DPNY, but be careful - it is a very steep drive with some really nasty potholes. We recommend that you hike all the way up to the top waterfall first and work your way back down...More

Quite a short hike to visit all three waterfalls but the scenery is lovely and the water is refreshing once you reach the top. Watch out for snakes!

We walked up in September, off season and only two other people there. Easy walk, but you have to know where it is to drive up to it (through a gated community off the main road). All three falls are beautiful, and you can get...More

There's no need of a 4x4 car. To get access into "Três Tombos" fall, you just need a regular car, because its access is thru a paved road.
