The enclosure fairly attractively laid out with feeding stations along the paths for up-close viewing. However, we saw no signage to help us with identification. Part of the reason for the visit was to see the orchids, for which there was no signage to warn...More

We enjoyed this low key butterfly garden right in the center of town. The owner was very enthusiastic and we enjoyed a very pleasant hour perusing the orchids, butterflies and hummingbirds.

Great little spot in Mindo. The guide who took us around was really informative, showing us the different stages Fromm butterfly eggs to caterpillars butterflies. There is also a hummingbirds garden which was is amazing.

$5 for the combined hummingbird, orchid and butterfly experience (rather than paying for these individually around town). It's mainly butterflies though - average garden and can't see the hummingbirds up close.

Nathaly Butterfly Garden had some varieties of butterflies that I haven't seen at other establishments near Mindo and this was really appreciated. There are many varieties of orchids as well, but you really need a knowledgable guide to show you the intricacies of each and...More

There is a long, potholed dirt road that leads there. It is slow going. Almost better for a Jeep. They only allow so many people into the butterfly houses at a time, so you might have to wait. There are hummingbird feeders near the entrance,...More

An amazing place all info on butterflies in one place. Just sit and enjoy, the staff give you some banana to put on your hands and the butterflies rest on your hands.
